i just gave birh there on 18th may. everything was good..the nurses were friendly and food was good...the lactating specialist was very helpful and friendly too

as for freebies, they gave me a baby bag of huggies samples, mustela travel size bath/shampoo and stuff upon discharge..also gave maternity pads, huggies diapers for baby and wet wipes during stay there.......they also have toiletries in the toilet like shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste etc (i stayed in single bedder)..

Basically you dont need to bring anything

I gave birth there in march. Remember to ask for the renovated rooms (I think its ward 4a) upon admission. At least, furniture r newer.

Nurse - Nurses in delivery suites n ward r nice and attentive. Feel free to approach them if u got any questions. They actually taught me the correct way to latch my baby before the lactation consultant did her rounds. One even taught me how to wake a sleepy baby to ensure full feeding.

Food - not bad. Besides the normal meal, u can opt for confinement meal as well.

freebies - they gave a romper n hooded towel n some bb shampoo etc. Maternity pads, huggies diapers r chargeable. I think they charged u per pack but you can bring home the unused ones.

Do u intend to bf? If so, ask the nurses to keep some glass milk bottles for you. Can b used for storing breast milk.

Feel free to let me know if u hv any other questions. (offhand I can't think of anymore things). :001_302:
