areola itchy

my areola area gets super itchy after i took my meals. im currently bf-ing my 2 wks old bb ger. Is tis norm?

I would think it's normal due to nipples not used to being sucked on nearly all day and night. Plus milk is kind of itchy. Also after engorgement breasts tend to be a bit itchy from all that skin stretching. Mine were itchy once a while and when skin gets dry too.
