Guess I spent too much time in Mummy's tummy, a full 41 weeks.
Here is my story:
Here is my story:
- Mummy admitted to Mt. Alvernia on 3rd Dec 00:16h.
- The nurse inserted into her a liquid to clear her gut at 01:00h.
- The pill for inducing my birth was inserted at 01:15h.
- Mummy was given a practice on the laughing gas (not funny) at 05:30h.
- Dr. Chan, Mummy's gynae came round to visit at 08:10h and broke the water bag.
- Mummy had a Syntocin drip to kick start the contractions at 09:50h.
- Mummy asked for a pain-relief jab into her butt at 13:00h
- The syntocin drip was removed at 14:00h as I was showing .signs of destress.
- Dr. Chan felt that I had passed motion in Mummy when he noticed the fluid coming out is a little greenish in color.
- The syntocin drip was then resumed at 15:40h after I calm down
- But at 16:45h, the drip was ceased as Dr. Chan saw that Mummy has made no significant progress in her dilation and contractions.
- It was decided at 17:00h that Mummy need to do an emergency c-section as the risk of complication mounted.
- At 17:30h, Mummy was wheeled into the Operation Theatre.
- I arrived at 18:05h but poor Mummy needed to stay behind to stitch up and reverse the GA.
- I was pushed out and welcomed by Daddy, Grandparents and two aunties!
- So thrilled to see this world but Sister Sheila has to quickly get me to the nursery to warm me up.
- It will be time for some breast milk later if Mummy is awake...
