I can't advise u properly cos I didn't read any book.

This is a breakdown of my girl's meals at 15 mth

breakfast & lunch baked potato, porridge/pasta/bee hoon (mixed w veg + meat/fish),
dinner rice + veg + meat/fish
(portion abt 3/4 Chinese bowl)

milk 3-4x total 600-700ml (I was advised to reduce milk intake)

tea biscuits, bread or fruit

Basically her food resembles adult food, except that it's cooked without salt or seasoning. Meat is shredded into thin slivers (0.5 cm) and veg is chopped up.

I think you can introduce a bigger piece of meat or fruit & let your child explore the texture.

Yes, she started with half a bowl of rice for dinner at ard 12 mth cos she gets hungry at night.

My son's pedia, gave us a food guide.
It had specific age as to when to introduce a particular food to your baby. It even had suggested meal sets in a day and the amount of food to feed. It was very helpful for us. Go ask your Pedia maybe he/she can also provide you a food guide.
