Pregnancy and birth of a baby is of great significance in every culture. Come and discover fascinating rites and rituals that safeguard the newborn's health and growth. And if you have always been baffled by the customs that pregnant mothers observe and wonder if they are merely old wives' tales, take a peek into the intriguing world of age-old traditions about pregnancy and birth and make up your own mind.
While the little ones can learn about how cherished they are right from the beginning of birth, they will get lots of light-hearted fun too. They will be engrossed in the puppet show, 'The Runaway Dog', as Mei Ching, the heroine of the show and her friends, learn more about the customs and practices of their neighbours as they search the neighbourhood for her missing dog. Plus, there will be puppet shows, music, drama and dance performances by schools. There will never be a dull moment for the kids at this hub!
