Baby Straining

DS (5 weeks) has been straining as if he is trying to get his urine or poo out... So much so until this face turns red.. but most of the time, nothing comes out.

IS that normal?

hmmm, not very. How do you know he's trying to get poop or pee out?

Or is he bloated and needs a burp?

He hasn't been pooping and peeing regularly?

the only reason for him straining is getting Poo and pee out, can't think of any...

He burped and yes, tummy seems bloated.

He is pooing and peeing well.

tummy bloated maybe can apply some ruyi oil.

my son also will turn red face when he stretching or wants to burp, is normal, as they grow older, their face won't b so red.

ds also love to strain.. lik doing stretching lik tt.. very normal... =)

Glad to hear that.. Just brought him back to the doc as he has a slight fever. Doc says the straining is normal. Phew!
