BB Starting nursery next year .

My BB is starting nursery nx year.
Registered PAP for him as it is the only nursery near my place.
Still having thoughts about PAP as i heard alot of feedbacks abt it ..

Is PAP standard lower as compare to private nursery ?

i hv registered for PAP (the PCF one) oso...startg next year too!

no choice, coz proximity is the main consideration...

all nurseries shd be the same in terms of educational standards...

my 2nd one is starting nursery too. Enrolled him in the same PAP as his elder bro...

Different PAP have different standards ~ so sad...

My friend's child is also in PAP, K1 this year and has to learn 5 English Spelling Words AND 3 Chinese 'ting-xie' EVERY WEEK!

but my boy NEVER had a single spelling or ting-xie, he is also in K1 this year. for him there's lots of hands on, excursion, reading and creative stuff...

but being a teacher for years in the past, I do give my boys 'extras' at home, doing 'my' worksheets and spelling....don't worry that I'm pushing him *laugh* 'cos I'm a go-with-the-flow kind of mommy. I'll never push my son beyond what he can manage...in fact, I'm kind of a slack mommy *laugh*
