Hi mummies,

I had pumped out blood when I was pumping out my milk..
It is flow of blood flowing into the pump.

Any advice?

Probably best to dump it if you pump for storage. If direct latching it is ok to feed baby if bleeding.

Any reason for the bleeding, like cracked nipples? If so you can apply some cream after or a bit of breastmilk and leave it to air for 10 mins or so since breastmilk has healing properties.

Hope you're ok.

I suggest nipple cream. apply after each pump. buy those that is save to latch after apply. Because sometimes you might forget to wash n latch. Some creams need you to wash before feed.

Maintain by moisturising the area. as the skin got expanded and contracted, hence they will get dried up.
