cjmom, 2, 4 and 5 are fine for repeated use. Most bpa free stuff use 5 tho. 1 is safe only for single use. 1 is usually used for mineral water bottles, i think. Repeated use of 1 will cause leaching of phthalates, which can also cause cancer.
3 is pvc. It should be avoided with 6 and 7.
