Breastfed bb need to switch to fm temporary. ls that ok?

Hi mummies,

My 5 week old bb is having jaundice for one month and his face is having serious ezcema. Just brought him to pd and he suggested to supplement my bb with fm as my breastmilk is causing him these two problems. Maybe due to confinement herbs.

I really wish my bb can recover fsst and wonder if I shd give him fm for a week. Meanwhile I will continue to express n store my bm. My worry is will my bb refuse to drink back bm after drinking fm for a week? Can he taste the difference at this age of 5 weeks?

Any mummy experienced and can advice? Thanks.

Hi mummy, thanks for your advice. Did your bb improve after substitute with fm? How long roughly did it take. For my case I am v worried because his whole face has the bb acne/eczema. Think it must be itchy and I really hope things can get well better. Heart ache when see him whole face like that n depressed when I get to know my bm is causing him to be like that. Cried n feel helpless
