Hi

It's not safe to take ginseng during early pregnancy. U can start taking after 16wks but about once a mth for ginseng it's too heaty! Taken during early pregnancy will cause miscarriage & no point taking it so early cause baby doesnt absorb it also !!

I was prescribe ginseng & cordycep pills upon pregnant by my tcm. The best is to check with your doc/sinseh before any consumption.

hihi i have brown spotting during my 1st tri and when the TCM doc took my pulse she mention it's really very weak thus she prescribe me w korean red ginseng. i took it like once every 3-5 wks juz and i can feel it helping as i use to felt cold all the time and hardly sweat at all. but i was told not to cont after u reach 4th mth. i guess u can take it provided you have the doc go ahead...dun take it on ur own ya...hope this help
