Chronic cough????

Hi Mummies,

My gal is currently 3yrs 8mths old now and having cough for the past 6weeks
She was sick before the haze in June, with the symptoms of dry cough and fever.
After she got well, she have this cough that she will cough only one time over and over again
The cough only be heard in the daytime.
She had seen western Doctor and Chinese physician, with slight improvement.
but came back after we stopped the medicine.
We also thought that it was caused by the haze. But she still cough after the haze
We tried to get her to avoid all the sweet stuffs or fried food (can cause irritation to the throat). Still no use.

Do any mummies experience on this kind of cough?

Hi mummy.

Keep your child hydrated at all times with warm water. On top of that you may want to boil snow pear for her to drink once a week to keep her cool inside. On the western side you may want to invest on a nebulizer and have her breathe on everytime she sleeps. Once a day is fine.

Experiment the above for a few days. If the cough dont get better please consult the pedia ya
