CNY- will everything be expensive?

im planning on buying furniture for my new place. however since CNY is around the corner i wonder if this will be a gd time to buy or otherwise. hair salons are marking up their prices. so i wonder does this implies to furnitures as well? i know some adverts claim to be saying they having sales and such. but are the price really cheaper or are they jacking up the price in the name of 'SALE'
knowing that this is the festive period where people will of course- spend.

nope, i dont think furniture will raise the prices.. actu other than hair salon, i think the rest of many things are having sales instead... =)

forget to mention.. yesterday bought oranges near my place. cost-3 for $2. ridiculously priced. and its not even sweet. why did i even bought them! sigh..

i think 3 for $2 is very expensive... but even if CNY sell more expensive oranges, shld be the mandarin oranges n not the usual ones.
