It is rich in nutrients such as Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Omega-3, EicosaPentaenoic Acid, DocosaHexaenoic Acid. 1-2 teaspoons of cod liver oil daily can help to prevent serious diseases such as cancer, diabetes, arthritis, musculoskeletal pain & kidney problems.
Yes it's good stuff but we're advised to avoid it during pregnancy as the fish's liver contains a form of vitamin A that pregnant women should not take. Other fish oils are fine
