Comfort Sucking?

How do u differentiate if a Bb is sucking for comfort or milk?

Comfort sucking they dun exert much force.. They suck a few times then stop , cycle keep repeating

I think my 3 months old is doing that quite often then. No wonder he needs to be fed frequently. when I put him down to his playpen, he will cry and wants to suckle.

But, there will no milk being suck then, right?

I think a little bit of milk will still come out as the breast is being stimulated.

There will be a bit of milk. I'm feeding my baby quite often too knowing sometime is comfort feeding and will split out some milk after..

Breasts are never empty, just well-drained... there will still be something...
