I forgot to say that these brands I buy are among the cheapest I have found in Singapore. The bodywash is only about $15. And it lasts for several months. So I think you'd better buy a little bit more expensive and have a healthier baby :001_302:

Thanks for the advice - The Propolis balm I'm using for my son is also made of natural products and it works very well as an anti-inflammatory cream and as a mosturiser... But I think I'll check out the website you provided and perhaps try some of the bathing products...

I've been using the physiogel AI for my boy & so far so good... It even works on his dry skin on the body & heat rash. Hope that was the last of the ezcema!

I think Physiogel didn't work so well for my son coz dryness wasn't the cause of the Ezcema; it also doesn't stop the itch or reduce the inflammed skin. Propolis balm not only moisturizes effectively, it is also anti-inflammatory, thereby removing the itchiness. It is a balm that we cannot do without now... hehe.

Dear mummies,

I would like to organize a spree to buy Propolis Balm from Australia. (I'm running out of it already and my son cannot do without it...) So, I'm asking if any of you mummies would like to try buying a bottle. If I am able to consolidate enough orders, I can buy each bottle for about SG$25 (including shipping costs), otherwise, each bottle will cost me about SG$35.

As I have shared with all of you in this thread (see reply on 18-09-2010, 03:38 AM), I have seen the effectiveness of this Propolis Balm on my son's skin condition within 2 days of using it, so I am strongly recommending this product to mummies out there who are just as helpless as I was before. I have attached pictures of my son Isaac below (Yep, the before and after shots...) :

Photo 1 - Taken in August (this is not even the worst inflammation he had & it already looked so bad)
Photo 2 - Sept 11 (First day he used Propolis Balm in Perth)
Photo 3 - Sep 12 (Second day he used Propolis Balm in Perth)
Photo 4 - Sep 18 (one week after using Propolis Balm)
Photo 5 - Sep 26 (2 weeks after using Propolis Balm)

A brief description of the product:
'Propolis' (as found in Wikipedia) is a type of bee wax that has anti-inflammatory and anti-bacteria properties. Defined as a natural antibiotic, Propolis assists with healing skin infections, ezcema, minor burns and wounds, ulcers, acne, and cold sores. It is also a natural moisturizer. The ingredients used in this Propolis Balm are lanolin, propolis extract, avocado oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, rose geranium oil and ethanol. (Made in Australia, so I think the ingredients can be trusted)

Warning: As Propolis is a bee product, it may cause an allergic reaction. Test before use. (I tried it on my son's legs and the fold on his arm for a day before using it on his cheeks)

Shipping time: 10 to 12 days.

I really hope I'm able to consolidate enough orders in this spree to stock up because the Propolis Balm will cost more in the near future as the Australian dollar grows stronger. Any mummies who are interested in trying this Propolis Balm, please PM me or reply to this thread. Thank you very much.

hi, im interested in placing an order.... my girl is just 4months old and she's not taking any solid foods and i didn't change her milk... rashes started when she's on her 3rd month...rashes on her cheeks and little on her forehead... she sometimes wakes up at night and scratching on her face ... i already consulted doctor and tried cleaning with water, hydrocortizone and moisturizing cream but seems nothing helps her in relieving the itchiness... hoping this propolis balm can help...

Hi, why don't you try the Weleda Baby face cream? The ingredients are very similar as your Propolis Balm from Australia as it contains beeswax and lanolin as well. In addition, it contains calendula flower extract (or more commonly known as marigold). Calendula has also anti-inflammatory, healing and softening properties. It helps against dry eczema.

Here is the list of the ingredients: Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Water (Aqua), Lanolin, Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Beeswax (Cera Flava), Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance (Parfum)*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Benzyl Salicylat*, Geraniol*. * from natural essential oils

Made in Germany. So they are very strict in terms of product quality.

You can buy on our website: it is at $23 at the moment. Here is the link: www://ginko-shop.com/?page_id=3&category=17&product_id=21

The delivery fees are $5 only (cheaper than a return taxi ride!).

Or you can go to Sunflower - Unit B1-12A at City Square Mall (right outside Farrer Park MRT)! But there's no sale at the shop, so the price would be $25.

If you have any question, don't hesitate to contact me on this forum or by email.

I've actually tried many creams before and so far this is the only cream/balm that I am extremely satisfied with. The results is almost instantaneous - so I think I'll stick to this product. But perhaps if I am unsuccessful in this spree, I may consider trying your product. Thank you for your offer of an alternative...

Hi Christie, I'm so glad that the Propolis worked for your daughter just as it did for my son. But remember you still have to find out what is the root cause of the Ezcema, otherwise the rashes will return - in any case, you'll have Propolis to counter the inflammation and itch the next time it happens... The small amount I sold you can probably last you only for 2-3 weeks. I'll consolidate the spree orders and let you know the ordering details by this week.

Hi Happy mother Stephaniesimgl,

i m glad that propolis help in conditioning your son's issue.

i just joined this forum lately and i was thinking that many of the mummies here knows about propolis benefits and colostrum.

Many mistaken colostrum = milk , hehe.

Welcome to this forum!

Ya, this propolis balm is something we cannot do without... I also used it for my heat rashes - way better than the Hydrocortisone cream that was prescribed by the doctor.

My son's fully recovered now - as long as he doesn't take any eggs. I brought him for an Allergy Test at KK and the doctor confirmed that he is allergic to eggs. So, if we avoid that, the rashes will not come back... Even if they do (he's slightly allergic to cow's milk), we have Propolis Balm to keep the rashes under control, so no probs now... hehe.

Good to hear propolis has helped so many people, wish it had worked for me! Seems as though the Australians really know what they are doing when it comes to Eczema because I have just found MOOGOO (they are Australian)! I have literally tried eveything and the Irritable Skin Balm is the only thing that has worked. It is 100% natural and I saw results almost overnight. will never look back. Is Propolis natural? I agree with what apoolo and others have said, you need to find the root of the problem to truly cure it. Until that day, I will keep MOOGOO within an arms length!
