Hi there,at the L.Aid you need to produce your ORIGINAL marriage cert no photocopy,bank statement,child birth cert.And its going to take at least 18months & if youre Lucky it could be shorter.As long as the other party agrees to your condition things will not drag but if he disagree to your claims thing will Drag.Sad to say private Divorce cases are Faster.About the layer Pro-bono you will only get to meet him/her in about 6-8mths time.I hope this comes in handy & i wish you the very best in the process.

yes there is a minimum amount you have to pay. it's not free but heavily susidised.

I agreed that private divorce is much faster if its a clear cut case (no child custody n no house), it cost starting from $2000 onwards
