Divorcee applying for HDB flat

hihi, may i know if its possible for a divorcee with 2 kids to apply for a hdb flat? i'm not 35 yet, but i have 2 kids under the age of 3...pls advise

If Im not wrong, can buy after divorce finalised. And 5 year bar. 5 years after divorce finalised then can buy.

U can try to find out frm u town council... Don call them email them then they will reply... They will b d best person to advice u... Then can consult d lawyer or seek help frm MP... Go for d meet ppl for ur area MP so tat they can help u... At least somethings better than nothing....
I'm oso planning for divorce but can't so meanwhile will try to sort out some issues 1st...

as long you are divorce and custody is given to u.. means you have a family nucleus... with that you are able to buy a flat from hdb.. note that there is a levy if you have taken a grant before for yr matrimonial flat...

You can discuss with your husband and see if he is willing to sign an undertaking form to state that he wouldn't be buying a flat, even 5 years after the finalize of the divorce. You can check out with HDB and see if this can applies. Cause me, I appealed and HDB personnel told me that I have to get my husband to sign the undertaking form before I can buy.
