Dear Mummies,

Have anyone seen this Gynae before? Because I tried to look for his name for any reviews but apparently there's nothing much. I heard that his service is good but I would like to know about the package that he is offering. And anyone can advice how much if I want to deliver by normal delivery in Mount A?

Please help... thanks:001_302:

Hi, we went for the maternity tour at Mt Alvernia last week. Normal delivery with epidural, single room is $2580. Still need to add gynae fees, paed fees, anaethesist fees I think. Medisave can claim up to $2100.

I love Mt Alvernia, very cosy feeling but they having renovation until end of this year so I'm still considering if want to deliver there since I'm due in Nov

Hi Katherine57,

is it?? They are having renovation there? Gosh, i thought I dont want to go to TMC because i heard the parking lots are worse.. Anyway thanks for sharing.. I'm due in Jan 2013 so hopefully they will be able to finish with the renovation hehehe:001_302: Btw which gynae that you are using now?

Hi soymilk80, I am currently seeing Dr Lee of Raffles Hospital but the delivery bill size will be a little steep (ave $7k total!) hence we are looking for alternative gynae. I am deliberating between Dr Kang Wee of Mt Alvernia and Dr Heng of Parkway East, still deliberating. What about you?

Katherine57, wahh ur bill so expensive but I heard Raffles hospital doctors are not cheap at all. I'm seeing Dr Henry Cheng in Bishan because I stay around the area so very convenient for me to go to this gynae. I have asked 1 mummy in this forum that went to Dr Henry Cheng as well and her feedback is good but she does not share the package with me so when I go to the second appointment I will asked about the delivery package and hospital costs as well.

Have you been asking others or read about DR Kang Wee or Dr Lucky in any of the forums? it might help!

Dr Cheng is really good... Just delivered my daughter 11days ago and everything went smoothly. He's also very patient and you don't have to wait long. His charges are pretty reasonable and he is extremely experienced. I am told that he is one of the few gynaes in Singapore which can perform fetal surgeries while in mommy's womb.

Hi Paige,

Great choice!

Yes you do as his appointment book is usually quite full but you should be able to get an appt one or two weeks in advance. :)

Hi Beanie,

Do you know about his charges? I have seen other forums and they said his charges are quite reasonable. Thank god I'm living nearby! :001_302: Can you pm me his charges and Mount A charges? Thank you! :D

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and first time mom-to-be. :embarrassed:

I have read some good and positive reviews on Dr Henry Cheng but would like an idea of his total charges based on normal delivery with epidural before actually making an appt to see him.

Appreciate feedback from anyone who knows!:001_302: Thank you!:001_302:
