Hospitalisation bills can be deducted by medisave. Yes private patient means the gynae will be all the way till you given birth. Depends.. usually she will give me non-peak hours. But if kenna her "peak hour" really must wait about an hour or more!Hi, for mummies who wnet to Dr Irene Chua as a private (not subsidised) patient, can you all use medisave to pay your consultation/ hopsitalisation bills? Or anything that you can use to offset your bills? Private patient means you can always stick to the same gynae isst? (Personally, i prefer to see the same gynae.. I find that having a diff gynae during each visit is 'stressful'). Also, is the waiting time for Dr Irene chua long?
For patients from private clinics, they can call up the clinic to look for their gynae if they have any pblms/ qns. Since Dr Irene chua is from KK, how do you mummies contact her? Or can only speak to the nurses and for them to offer nurses' experience? Im curious, how diff the charges and care given are like between pte and govt gynae.. thanks
Hi Tiggee,I have been reading the forum and Dr Irene Chua seem to be a great gynea. Im 1st time preggy so I have no idea what to do. I have a few qns. And I hope you guys will be patient with me.
1. Are the antenatal charges medisave deductable?
2. How far along my pregnancy shld I start visiting a gynea?
3. How do I book an appointment with her?
4. Are her waiting hours long?
Thanks in advance!
About 80 if there's no medications.. If with medications is 100++.Thanks for the info.
On a average, how much will the consultation (scans & what not) fees be?
And how much is her delivery charges?
Hi,
You pay for the deposit in cash when you book your package, either $2080 for normal delivery, and $2600+ for c-sec.
I took a 3Day C-section package at A1 room, bill was $6.5k, not including the baby's bill. Can use medisave claim up to $3950max. (normal delivery medisave is $2K+ only)
Baby's bill is $800+, but can use medisave.
