Im with Dr Wong MT, he is a very patience gynae, will not rush thru appt. If got any question he will answer instead just brushing it off.

He has been very assuring gyane as my BB got abit of complication and the specialist that he recommend us is Fantastic.

I paid $700 from wk 8.

Hi,

I'm also currently seeing Dr Wong at Bt Gombak.. My Package was $670 from 7 weeks. His package includes the scans he does in the clinic and your multi vitamins. All others are separate charges (i.e blood test, fish oil, detailed scans. But he recently had his clinic GST registered.. so.. previously I was paying only $60 for my fish oil.. now it's $64.20...:err:

I am currently 10 weeks pregnant and after good review here, we were convinced enough to sign up package with Dr Wong.. Hopefully he's good.

Anyone currently seeing Dr Wong and have information on Hospital Bills he is charging?

Hi Varadidie, I gave birth in Jan this year at Thomson, normal delivery. Dr Wong's professional fees was $1,050, I too signed up for the package with him, there was no charge for the post natal review.. I assumed it's in the package as well.. Hope this helps

By the way varadidie.. I have an unopened fish oil which I bought from his clinic one week before I delivery. I also have an unopened bottle of multi vits. He will precribe these 2 from 12 weeks onwards. His clinic is selling at $64.20 after GST.. I wanna sell it for $50 only. If you're interested, please PM me

Hi Fiza

Thanks for the useful information. As for the medical bills, do you have to pay anything else than the 800 Deposit required by Thomson?

Hi.. Anyone know if Dr Wong usually gets a free upgrade of his patient (from 4 bedder to 2 bedder etc?) care to share ur experience?

varadidie,
you are under him now? why not ask him or the nurses? =) I'm sure they can help you with your enquiries! =)

hi ladies,
any recent comments about Dr Wong?

I went to him a month ago to confirm my first pregnancy. He is my first gynae (initially wanted to go to Dr Ang but God didn't allow it to happen..) and felt comfortable with him so have signed up a package with him upon first visit.

he's always very patient and if I have got any stupid questions, I will feel at ease when asking him. Haa.. (Can you imagine if your gynae starts mocking you just because we are ignorant?) He doesn't rush through his consultation which is good, especially for first time mums-to-be who need more assurance...

Unfortunately, I lost my little one last Tuesday and did a wash out on the 24th March. Was pretty nervous because it was my first surgery in my whole life and I was of course very devastated.

Cried in the OT but he came and assured me not to be nervous..

Overall, I find him to be a very nice guy! Oh.. almost forgotten.. he does resemble a bit like one of the local chinese singers Huang Jing Lun!!! =P

Will be seeing him next coming Tues..

Huang Jing Lun..oh my..haha..I thought this guy singer always looks a bit blur blur on the Taiwanese channels. Esp in the Tao Hua Xiao Mei show...can't imagine that he can look like a dr. :p

HAaa.. but Dr Wong is good! He's not blur lah.. just that the way he looks and the way he say things kinda resemble Huang Jing Lun lor.. Haa.. I'm so going to tell him the next gynae appt i have with him lor! Haaa..

Hi Jester

Thanks for your reply. The nurses told me that it depends.. but some of my friends told me that usually, it depends if gynae is practising in TMC, usually will get automatic upgrade.. nt sure how true. Another friend told me that if we see Lawrence Ang, most of his patient gets auto upgrade..

My baby was delivered by him in feb 2010. He is a very patience gynae and never rush thru appt. Due to my DS got cleft, he was very assuring thru out my pregnancy.

My Hubby say he look like Jacky Cheung.

Hi,
My baby was delivered by Dr Wong MT, I didn't get an upgrade, I think it's because off peak season. I have a 4-bedded room for my self :):tlaugh:

I think Dr. Wong is very kind. He let me went home on Monday, even though I just delivered my baby on Sat night. (We didn't want to add another day or half day :mtongue:)
