Drinking water the first thing in the morning

Do you have the habit of drinking several cups of water the first thing you wake up in the morning? I heard that it cleanses our body but doesn't work the same for everyone.

Drinking water at morning with empty stomach helps a lot to improve our health and fitness and control a number of diseases.
It helps to control the cholesterol level and burn the excessive body fat.
It's also good for the stomach health and stabilize the digestive system.
