Hi...

Tui na is something like massage right?. U cant do any massage untill ur above 2nd trimester i think. N u have to look for the massuse who is experienced.....

does anyone know what's the going rate for a confinement nanny (all inclusive)? and what are the things we need to look out for or ask when looking for one? I actually do not eat meat now (by choice although I eat seafood) and I haven't decided if I'll want to get back to eating meat during my pregnancy or during my confinement (if I have one). I know many of the traditional confinement food have meat so I'm also not sure if I should look for a confinement nanny who can cook vegetarian maybe.

I not really sure for the rate right now , mostly will b above 1.5k ... but mostly during confinement i tin is better to tk some meat , as you nid to regain your energy n boost your immune system . When you look for cl , rmb to look for company . As if d cl ur not happy with , cal d cl company . They can change 1 for u.. but if u find those not related to company , you have to tahan your current cl till ur confinement end . Some cl very jialat 1, they will insist u to buy tis n tat , end up ur nt d 1 who eat those fd . I heard b4 some mummies encounter b4 tis .. cl insist her hub to buy exp fish la , tonic la .. say gd for mummies.. end up cl eat up . Den nvm , some steal tins , lazy dont do clean up . Or dun help baby to change diaper when their diaper get wets . Den nvr wash hand after they visit toilet , den prepare milk for bb .. at nite doesnt wake up to feed bb . So do search carefully .. better to ask around ur fren c whether they have any cl to reccomend .. as they experience b4 .

Hi Dec mummies! I'm currently expecting my first baby at 7 weeks and I've got sooooo much to learn from all the experienced mummies here. Can't wait to read more threads and hopefully make some friends here! :)

Hi all.... I m 8 weeks as of tml... before went thru slot of hell due to my piles.n admitted hospital... got bleeding Geylang vaginal also.. went to nuh ane a few times.. during 6 weeks cannot hear heartbeat so nuh arrange to go for another scan tomorrow to scan again. Kinda worried too. My Edd is 17 Dec which is my wedding anniversary! :)

Tat 1 shld b spotting ba.. well u have to monitor , if ur spotting doesnt stop . So better go hospital check again.. im going kkh to check up too.. doing my 2nd scan.. my 1st only able to c sac.. so app 2 weeks later which is tml lo.. hopefully able to scan my bb n hear his/her heartbeat ..

Currently i experience vomiting ( eat wat , drink wat , vomit wat ) , giddiness , no appetite . Den slppy , but cant slp easily due to my pump .. already show up alittle , as tis my 2nd pregnancy .

I just brought forward my first Gynae appt cos I had light brown spotting. Doc gave 3 days mc n hormone pills. I din know it is so bad. Honestly worried now. I had my first scan yesterday n saw the sac. Too early for heartbeat.

Anyone has advice on spotting? Is it tat serious?

Now no more le but got spotting on and off. Tml heng heng hope can hear heartbeat...
Any ladies here experience the vaginal area v suan? Mine is super suan leh... sorry for being so crude.. lol.. my fren say its normal cos the uterus expanding..
Currently piles still there but so not so painful.. my ms is on and off.. no special craving but super no apetite.. eat abit abit mai eat liao.. my hubby eat alot.. he say machiam he preggie.. lol..

Btw this is my first preggie. :)

BAbe dun need to be too worried abt spotting ba.. its common unless got heavy bleeding.. everyone react differently.. jus need to be careful and if need to den go hospital lo.. i got once bleed alot in the mid of the nite so scary i went ane immediately.

I'm seeing my gynae for the first time tomorrow and we're very excited & nervous. Not sure what to expect at all for the first visit. Any advice will be great! Anything in particular we should bring with us as well?
I think we're especially nervous because after testing positive 2 weeks ago, we've not actually had any 'real' confirmation about the pregnancy or if it's going ok. I've also had rather mild symptoms so far except for a pretty big belly which I'm also hoping is not an indication of something wrong. *Fingers crossed*

For spotting normally it jus have a few drop when u wipe ehen u go for ur toliet trip. Den normally it last for 1 to 2 days only.. n shldnt b heavy flow.. so if tat ia heavy flow.. better go hospital check up. During my #1 pregnancy.. i did have spotting . When i wipes den saw blood . Den i tot my mense is cmin . Den actually i found out im pregnant 2 weeks later after spotting.. but notin to worry . I did experience cramp b4 i notice im pregnant . Bout 1 to 2 days nia.. no nid to worry too much . Jus bring ur happy mood n visit ur gynae n visit ur precious baby ; ) ..

thanks ya!!! U too!! Which gynae u choosing? I till now haven fix a gynae leh... Cannot make up my mind whether Pte or gov... I see how is the scan tmr at nuh first... I am still gg under the subsidy so no fix gynae n I think cos it's nuh so the random gynae all very young... No need to bring anything ba... Prepare for a vaginal scan... Hehe... Do update us!!!

I have go tru my #2 scan today . Gynae say i have little internal bleeding . No wonder i always feels uncomfortable on my tummy all this days . Not sure izit b cos when i go for my tw trip 2 weeks b4 , den did go for there theme park ride like roller coaster , cause bleeding inside . At tat time i didnt notice im pregnant . So jus go for their ride . Any mummies have same pro like me ?

Hi ahmeilover...my gynae is at Thomson Medical Centre. The visit went alright...I'm apparently only 6 weeks 3 days yesterday (thought I was 7 weeks!) so there wasn't much to see although we did do the scan. We have to go back to the gynae in 2 weeks. Was given vitamin B6 also. :)

Hi Joey! Oh no about the internal bleeding...hope your scan goes well today!

Gynae told me d bleeding will b disappear itself . Ask me not to worry . But she told me if i did feel pain or have like mense , have to admit hospital for further check up . C d blood clot did increase its size . I did do some research . Some say might b cos implantation bleeding which left inside my body .

Hi all... went for my scan yesterday at nuh... bad news. Devasted. Mo say baby stop growing cannot see any fetal pole growing. The yolk sac also decrease in size.
They wanna arrange me to do the washing tdy but i rejected.. went to a pte gynae tdy to seek 2nd opinion. Result turn out to be same.

Pte gynae schedule my surgery to be done at tmc on sunday morning. All the best to the mummies to be here. I cannot join u all guys le.
Pls do tink positive ok... doc say miscarriage is sommthing we cannot prevent. I also nv do anything but jus gone like that.
Devasted but life still have to go on... take care ladies!
