azzzima, my breasts never leak at all...
however, i read up at kellymon.com about lotsa BF myths n facts.
apparently, not leaking, no engorgement, continuous feeding etc etc don't mean that baby is not well fed.
mummies, u guys can go take a look.... it's a great website!!
answered many of my queries.
i dun think it s abnormal if it doesnt leak right? as long as baby s eating well. everything should be fine. not to worry. :D

I think my supply stagnant already. :( My friend was telling me the hormones to supply milk is better at night, so she ask me to pump more at night. Don't know how true. But based on Kellymom, milk supply is best when the breast is more empty?
I read at a forum. one mum said best to pump in the morning. i ve realised it is true. like 7am. but i always overshot and end up pumping in the evening. :S so far only managed to pump 10-20ml total after feeding. i must pump more frequently.

Recently my baby seems to have some difficulty in breathing, like as if having flu. Do your babies have this? Once the CL clear the rubbish in her nose, then she's ok . I am wondering if she has sensitive nose or she has issues with sleeping in aircon room or dust.

today is the fourth day and my bb hasnt poo yet. previously was on the 3rd day then she pooed. got worried and husband checked forums and internet. according to them, exclusive breastfeeding babies can poo once in a week and it s normal. my mum find it strange that she s not pooing daily. sigh. hopefully she ll poo today.

i gave her water but she rejects it. even tricked her before latching her on.

blessedDeb- Congrats!!
Hope u and baby boy had a great 1st week together!
hear more from u soon.....

whomovedmycheese- baby falling during feeding is not good.
means milk flow too slow or finishing.
so have to wake baby up or change side or compress breast to increase flow.

my baby is 7 weeks old.

from the website you gave:

At around the age of six weeks, the stooling pattern of a breastfed baby may change. It is not uncommon for the breastfed baby to skip days between bowel movements. Some babies skip every other day, some go every two or three days, some once every 5 - 7 days, and some babies hold out for up to 11 or 12 days at a time - then have quite a FULL diaper when they DO go

thus i assume should be ok. thank you for the link. much appreciated. :D

Hi all mummies, How are you all doing ..
Really not easy to become mother these days..
I fed my baby formulated milk at around 2 am , then she still wakes up at around 430 am for milk ..
i thought Formulated milk need more time to digest , so the baby will get hungry later ? i used organic formulated milk ( Bellamy's) not sure is there any difference from the normal fm.
I know there is fore milk n hind milk for breast milk, i m not sure whether my baby got the hind milk or not, as i look at my milk seems very watery..
anyone know how to see ?

thank you

I think I might be the earliest to go back to work, coz I am clearing 3 months first. How do you store your milk now?
I'm previously using the glass bottle with 4 plastic caps I have from milk bottles. Now using the 6 oz milk bottles n combining same day milk. Limited caps so need to use milk bottles bigger storage cap. Think my milk supply increased slightly so often end up all 4 glass bottles full d n no more storage. Putting them in the fridge n first in first out for feeding.

You put in the freezer right? I am thinking maybe I should really combine the milk, but don't know if it is ok. On the other hand, coz I usually leak about 75ml, it is not here nor there and it would be too much for the sample glass bottle to hold 2 sessions. Don't know if I were to put into those storage bags, can still open and topup after sealing it.

Blueish or thin/diluted white are foremilk. Hind milk is solid white like fresh milk colour.

I am using lots of breast pad now already.. :( already finished 1 box.
Nope, only initial is foremilk, most is hindmilk. It's the same as pumping. Sometimes, I also have to massage to empty the breast, otherwise, I am afraid the supply wont come in.
