And salute to all 2nd time mummies!!
my office is a shop house so I have been climbing a lot since the start of my pregnancy. To the extent that I think I burnt too much calories climbing that bb was on the skinny side during my 28 weeks check up. Gynae advised me to eat more and now bb is 3kg at 38 weeks. Phew! Can't wait for my 39 weeks check up this sat to see bb's weight n see if my cervix has started to dilate a bit.
Been feeling some pressure down there but not to the extent like how some of u mummies described. Hopefully this doesn't mean my cervix is still closed. After reading bout the piles problem after delivery, now I worry bout it. Crap. Sounds bad.

Jiayou piglim! i guess its better to let gynae know asap.. Hmm if need to admit for labor, they also can take note and take neccessary precautions? 
ya i also have feeling baby is coming earlier! I was so tired after putting #1 to slp and i dozed but i felt tummy pain.. Slept it away.. But i just woke up in pain n went to pee.. Now feel like LS feeling.. Dunno if this little cramp is the contraction.. Haizz so confused again.. Last time i also thought food poisoning.. Felt like cramps and menstrual cramp type.. End up was real contractions.. Hmm but hubby also feeling tummy discomfort.. He also pooped as much as me today.. Maybe its the beehoon n the chilli padi... I'm lying in bed with mild pain in tummy now.. Zzz hope i am not in labor!! I don't want bb's bday to be on labor day public holiday! Hahaa
oh ya today marks the day i started my 'labor of love' .. Last yr i decided to quit after gg back to work for 2 mths post maternity leave.. And tendered my resignation on 1st april (april's fool day, boss thought i was kidding), and i cleared 1 mth notice. 1st May I was officially a sahm... Looking back its been an exciting 1 yr! Life has changed so much.. Simpler yet fun with baby seeing her achieving all her milestones... though after she turned 18 mths she became harder to take care.. I actually miss her younger days where i could bring her everywhere and play with her.. Perhaps my pregnancy has altered my play w her.. Makes me feel bad coz i can't bring her out myself w my big tummy n get frustrated easily.. Well just gotta brave on into my 2nd yr of being a sahm! It's definitelynot ez and now gonna have #2! I believe i'll be ranting more!!! Haha! Bear w me ya???

Lingz, ya my girl also super sticky to me..... When i sit on sofa to play with her.. She sticks to my legs... Wanna climb on .. And w ats to be carried.. Zz i can't do much things.. Oh well i'm surprised i can still carry her around.. Yesterday when coming home frm market and was raining, i carried her frm car to home while waiting for hubby to carry stroller and all the marketing stuff up stairs and shelter.. Thought tummy feels bearing down .. But still can handle her weight.. Haha we mummies are strong!
oh for me the rashes stopped itching a few days after delivery.. I tink cos tummy nt as stretched so those rashes dun itch anymore.. but the scars remain.. sobz.. cos I scratched them too bad.. so u try nt to scratch too much k? I noe easier said than done.. but at least try..miso:868641 said:
Oh yeah we mummies are super mummies man.. my girl is like 11+kg.. add my bump into e equation, im like an elephant walking ard.. I was telling my hubby wa long time nvr carry her for long period of time liao.. din noe she put on so much weight man.. hahaha..
Im super impatient for didi to pop soon.. sighz.. maybe cos gynae gave me a deadline of next Tue.. still nt out and she will induce.. I dun wan induce! Been toking to bb but no signs of labour leh.. I tink he is quite determined to be a may baby.. and oso v determined to bake as long as he can.. smetimes wen my #1 put her head on my tummy I will ask her wat did didi say? She will always say 5252 in mandarin or at least sth tat sounds like 5252.. I jokingly tell hubby tat perhaps we shld buy 4d.. but now tinking.. maybe she's telling me didi wanna come out on 2 may? I hope so!!!!!!!!

I am recovering well but m super tired... haiz... no.2 sleeps alot during the day and makes lots of noise at night... no.1 can play on her own during the day, but once reach sleeping time at night will insist that she wants me to accompany her to sleep... haiz... at night when no.1 cry, no.2 also make noise.... when no.2 make noise, no.1 will wake up and cry... but other than that nom1 and no.2 seems to be getting along well... no.1 likes to "poke" no.2... no.1 still learning how to sayang no.2... no.1 super love to sit near no.2 and play... so need to keep looking out when she play

Lingz12, my gynea will also induce me nxt tues if baby still din pop. we expect her to pop early as #1 came out one wk earlier. .. now baby is lying v low like exploding my tummy, duno when is she ready... I m still mtg my family for buffet later haha.
Once u r on epidural, dun think u can even feel the urge to go toilet... they will put the urine bag for u n remove after they transfer u to the ward.
I remembered it's v awkward to have ur first pee. The nurse will help u into the toilet n teach u jow to clean ur wound on the first time. It's so weird having ppl standing in front of you waiting for u to pee... I couldn't do it so the nurse said she will wait outside till I m done haha
I m also v tired of waiting game. Tummy so heavy and suddenly I got scretch marks! Big n ugly right in the middle of my tummy! My hips hurt when walking, got to walk real slow... my #1 also keep insisting me to carry all the time round... really can't rest at home... haiz.

wah now i can't really and dread moving in bed.. Bottom thigh and pelvic area all super sore.. Even cracked .. Sit up back ache, stand up and try to walk i'm like a wobbly hippo... Sigh i'm up to do chores again.. Can't slp in eventhough i'm so tired... #1 super active.. Once she is up i cannot rest.. Recently she is up at 7plus.. Zzzz
Charchia, i think its transition period..my mummy fren said both of her #1 and #2 got used to being disturbed by each other's cries after awhile and both can slp while the other is up.. Wah seems not bad that ur #1 can play alone! My #1 is not willing to do so.. Keep sticking to me n wants my attention.. Sighhh super draining.. Maybe its coz of the way she was brought up for the past yr at my mil house.. I nv let her on the floor and kept us in a room... Now w the space, she is still v dependent on me... I'm still wondering how she will respond to having #2 around..

Tannie! Ur gynae oso said induce u on Tue? If I rem correctly, we have the same gynae? Joc wong right? Oh man, she is one busy woman then.. Let's hope our babies come out on their own before tat!

Coz i'm 37wks le and doc said that bb is in breech position when he did a scan on monday.
If this sat still not turned I will have to schedu a c - sec.

i feel damn depress today, tears keep flowing....i feel restricted....confinement tis cannot tat cannot. got to bear wif a stranger at hm, got to bear wif messy hm...i carn do wat i like to do...,got to eat in....blah blah....gg crazy.

Hi ladies, any idea about indian confinement lady or anyone who have done fr indian mums? until now, i thot i can do it by myself but as the days are getting near, i feel anxious n nervous. So me n hubby thot of hiring confinement lady. Any help n info will be really appreciated. thank you
