EDD May 2014 (maybe)

Hi all, I just did my surgery last night. The cyst was 15cm with 1litre of water content. Yesterday was really a nightmare with hubby n I shuffling here n there to do the MRI scan. Then e conversation with e specialist n the Gynae really worried e hell out of us. They said e cyst was close to my ovary so if needed they will cut that away.. Upon hearing that I teared so much.. Well though we don't intend to hv any more kids alrdy but it's like part of my female organs removed.. Then Gynae explained the risk of e surgery said may puncture other parts of my organs... If the keyhole operation is not possible they will cut a vertical large line on my tummy... n it will remain as a scar forever.. Hearing all these doesn't help..
Anw glad everything is over. They managed to do the keyhole surgery so it's four small cuts across my navel.
The docs r still puzzled how come this was undetected. Even Oscar n detailed scans also didnt show the cyst. So it remains a mystery. Hopefully can discharge later... I miss my babies..

So happy for u that its all over now!!! Finally u can have time with yr darlings!! But do hav gd rest too o! So now we also know we must be vigilant abt all the pains that our body may have.. its all signs warning us..
Anyway those with #1 esp gg sch.. pls get them to drink more water.. HFMD in the run.. my girl sch has a few cases.. her classmate even got measles.. thankfully my girl just took her MMR 2 wks ago!! And one infant HFMD also.. the rest including my girl down with cold..

Glad that its resolved! piglim pls have a gd rest and speedy recovery! It's such a tough journey for you.. Pls take care of urself well first so that u can be up and strong for ur kids soon! Ya, its times like these that we realise people who really care and love us deeply.. Your hubby is so sweet. must have been tough for him too..
Hmm there's also flu n sorethroat bug around these days.. My hubby caught it when he went back to work this week.. On mc for 2 days.. We all gotta take care n take precautions..

Thanks for all the advise mummies. Guess I can now do exclusive pumping now. I miss latching my girl on already. Btw, do u mummies pump in public, not out in the open of coz but in nursing rooms? Coz bringing ebm out is one thing, how do u deal with ur engorgement?
Also, if I intend to gradually reduce my milk supply b4 going back to work using cold cabbage, will it affect my milk supply for my next child in the future? Sorry for the many qns.

Thank u all mummies.. I will discharge today. Tummy feeling sore from e op. sigh see my tummy still big (though now not as big n stretched as before) n I can't do my massage until 1 mth later. So upset.. Cos that will mean e massage will no longer b effective right.. Haiz... Can only hope that thru bf my tummy will reduce in size over time. Mummies how long did it take for ur tummy to shrink? My first pregnancy I think I end of confinement looked near to normal. Now I m into my second week of confinement Le..
I hvnt carried my baby for 4/5 days.. Feel so bad.. N my son... He must b thinking why mummy suddenly disappear from home on n off n why mummy not carrying him anymore.. Son is now very very attached to my hubby which is a Gd thing but I feel sad that I can't b as close to him.. Hopefully after my confinement I can mend that bond back...
I hv been pumping my breast but not very diligently thru e night cos still drowsy. Each pump now can pump 70ml one side. Hopefully it will increase soon so that my daughter can n on total breastmilk. She is now drinking 70ml ( but not sure if she has increased during my stay in hospital)

Miso I dun think applying cabbage will affect future milk supply.

not breastfeeding??? if using mix and bb can finish one can in a week is alot... my 1 month old bb doing mix feeding, the tin can last about 3 weeks... and he is drinking 120ml...
My supply is quite low. One day only about 200ml. Only able to supplement besides formula. He is drinking 90ml each time and interval of 1 to 2 hrs only. Is that normal?
how many feeding per day? and what is ur current baby weight... I remember someone sharing in facebook (edd may group) on how to calculate ur bb needs to take in one feed... If I never remember wrongly it is ur baby weight in kg multiplied by 150 n divide it by number of feeds in 24 hrs.
