Exceed 8K ceiling can still try for flat? Or MUST get EC?

Hi All,

Do you know if husband+wife income total (gross) exceeds 8K but just slightly.. do we still get a chance at balloting for flat? Or we will not be considered at all and have to get EC or private? We are first timers..

U can alt. get a bank loan if you fail to pass the criteria for HDB loans.

Not sure if i'm a little too late. But YES, u can try to appeal. A couple of my friends did and they were successful in getting govt grant and all.
