Fever due to MMRV Vaccination

Hi Mummies,
My baby just had her MMRV vaccination last Thursday. She started having fever from Monday night onwards. She still has fever till today. I've been giving her Progesic every 6hrs. Can anyone advice me as to how long the fever will last as I'm not sure how many more days of leave I need to take?

Hi, is your baby still running a temperature?
How old is she?
Did you feed her food like porridge and/or rice ever since she started to have a fever?

Hi, thank u for ur reply.
My baby is 14mths now. I've been giving her normal food (eg: rice, porridge, pasta etc) since her jab. Initially her appetite was not good, she wasn't eating much. It's better now!
If I stop her med, her fever returns...
That's y I'm not sure, how long this will last for...

I read from somewhere that after the MMRV jab, there might be some red spots and the jab area might swell a little with some soreness for about 7-8 days.

I will stop my child from taking rice or porridge when she is running a temperature until it has subside. Of course, she will be hungry, try to give her vitagen/orange juice if she does not has the appetite to eat. Ample of water will hydrate her body and keeps her body cool.
