Do you feel good to be called 'Mum' by yr FDW?
Filipinos insist the right way to address a female employer is 'Mum'. Indonesia and other FDW nationalities follows. We are in Spore, why can't they use proper English?
Filipinos are such common sight. No longer just maids. They appear in the form of a BreakTalk cashier at Bugis Junction, a Quality Hotel cafe waitress, a hospital nurse, a school staff, a big organisation HR staff, etc.
If one day, our road signs or official language had to translate to Tagalog to accomodate them, how do you feel? Do you feel you were victimized? In terms of being a household FDW employer or as a staff in some companies?
