Hi Moms,

would you mind to share your delivery costs for comparison... i feel that my cost might be quite cheap (EDD necxt march) thanks

mine might be :

Total spending for doctor+vitamin+hospital :
1st visit = $ 80
2nd visit = $ 500 (doctor antenatal package)
Lab Test = $ 120
Vitamin = $ 90
Fetal Anatomy Test = $ 100 (not really sure coz i threw away the receipt hehe)
Antenatal Class = $ 235.40 9parkway east)
Doctor's charge for normal delivery = $ 750
Hospital charge for single room, normal delivery = $ 2280
Total = $ 4155.4
Medisave Claimable Limit = $ 2100 + $ 750 = $ 2850
Cash Outlay = $ 1305.4

hi everyone im new here....
just learnt from my gp yest im 5 weeks pregnant...i dont feel pregnant except just sleepy + feverish + bad cramps (normal to me coz i haf history of bad menses cramps).i read somewhere its not cfmed pregnant till gynae confirms it?is it true?coz now i worry if im not pregnant i will disappoint my hubby who is super super excited over this news since yest:s
(1)if im pregnant im considering dr lisa chin from gleneagles anyone has experience wif her b4?how is she like?
(2) anyone can share total breakdown costs (from consultation right up to delivery at gleneagles? (including anaesthesiatric costs etc etc) so we will be prepared at the total costs we r in for should we proceed with dr chin?
(3) anything else i shld be aware of coz this is my 1st pregnancy n im really both happy n nervous + scared mixed of emotions n im clueless whats next n all i want do is sleep!

anyone taking gynae n delivering at mt alvernia?can share with me more details....i.e.package costs from consultation + delivery n if the gynae is male or female

my gynea is male, he delivery at mt A n thomson. package i not very sure when i start, think is week 12 at $650 or $750 not include tests n fish oil($30 per mth) but he give free 3d scan.

Wow, your package is really cheap... mine follow up and routine check up is already $190 each time (each month) before supplements...
Is the gynea very patient and answer all your inquiry? How old is he?

just delivered on Sunday

my total cost at Parkway East, single room, normal delivery with epidural+forceps

Hospital charge for single room, normal delivery = $ 2781.35Doctor charge @hospital = 1684Baby charge @hospital = 561.91Peado charge @hospital = 216.14
Total = $5243.4

Medisave Claimable Limit = $ 2600 + $661.91

Cash Outlay = $ 1981.49​

Your consultation is quite reasonable. Mine is around $190 for consultation and simple scan.

I feel satisfied with my gynae...after delivered my baby and also the placenta..he also take the blood clog from my uterus...

Yes my hubby stayed with me and they also provided the food ... I forget how much we must pay additional cost for him..it's included the pillow, blanket n food for him

if you didn't mind to share with others 2 bedder is ok...luckily if only you alone there:p

Yes i was staying 2 night
My bill became expensive because I used epidural + forceps, if you really natural birth will be cheaper
