Hard to conceive again. Why?

Hi ,

this matter have been on to my mind for several weeks now. I wanna go for check up with the husband, but I'm afraid that my husband will think that I'm hint-ing him that he got problem. You know lah, male pride!

So yesterday, coincidence when we were about to sleep, my husband told me... How come I realise that you never come menses. We been living in our new house for ard 5 mths already and we always make love.. Wondering why you never get pregnant.

At the point of moment I thought... Finally he bring out the topic.. I was all the while been afraid to ask him or tell him.

We been together for 6 yrs. But we already have a 4 yr old daughter, natural conceive. And I really want a second baby.

I have irregular menses after giving birth, I've gain weight.

But I'm very glad after I told my husband what I actually wanted to do and he seems calm about it.. Only that he ask why can we be like other couple or like her sister who have 5 young kids!

I wanna go for check up but worried about cost.

I've heard about PCOS, can a woman have that even when she pregnant once and even give birth naturally?

What can I do?

Irregualr menses will be hard to know when we Ovulate? And being fat is another.

Sigh.. Sometimes I thought.. Its tough to be a woman..

But definately and surely... I wont start giving up on concieve a baby again....

sometimes after birth homones will change, will recommend u to visit a TCM or gynae if your mensus is very irregular.. how many days is ur cycle? can try to see our thread on we are ttcing. there are lots of info there. =)

Last mth my period was on 12march and only lasted for 4 days. before this, my 2nd last period is on January 23. hmmm...

Hi adlieyn, i am having the same problem with you too! I had a 3 years old son and we are trying for second child too. Like you i have irregular menses that also lasted for 4 days. Used to be a week though. Sigh really very stress :(

Seems like Im not alone... yes very stress and a lil bit pressure... i dun wan my kid to have such a far age gap..

Good luck in ur IUI. Can I ask why you choose to go with IUI? What did the gynae say to you? I am making some time for me to drop by any woman clinic but was afraid of the consultation fees or if i feel hurt during the check-up. yes. me very scary cat lah.. but I think if i wan to have a second one I must do it!

hi adlieyn, you are not alone. I have been trying for a year especially 2nd half of last year *diligent in order to have a second bb. Until now also no news. I am seeing a chinese TCM now and still trying.

hi pooh, may I know which gynae are you with for IUI? My gynae only tell me be assured that I will conceive again.... Sound so relaxed right? But I do not want my kids age gap to be too wide ... Can you share with us how is your experience?

me too till now no good news. bought myself ovu stripes to see if it works. Last two days I try one dark and one lighter clr. I read online they say its still consider negative..

hi all, I have a 1.5 year old...and has been trying to conceive again for no.2 but it's so tough. Age is definitely catching up and I am worried something may happen to the baby if I am pregnant. Worse of all, I keep getting this damn urinary tract infection! I am seeing a specialist for my UTI and TCM to "balance" my body through acupuncture. Anyone who has similar problems can share how to help?

hi adlieyn, i have written about PCOS. it is one of the many reason that can cause a woman to be infertile. the good news is - you can still get pregnant if you have PCOS. sharing my view on the topic. do visit my articles i've written. hope this helps.

or UTI, u have to cut down on sugary intake. white rice, white bread can actuall add on to the sugary things.

I am ttc too...but not successful for months. *sianz* I am not sure why after my menses, I will tend to get UTI during my ovulation period...and this is lowering my chances to have a baby! *damn it* Anyone has similar problems like me?

hi bubbleblue, i was with sgh CARE. the IUI not working for me so i'm moving on to IVF. like all of you here, dont want the age gap to be too wide...1st one already 3+ ..sigh
