thanks for your info.. But the medisave claim was more WEF tis your JUn..FYI, Before I gave birth last june, i was looking for threads that would give light on really how much would it cost me if i deliver in Mt. Alvernia. So im sharing these infos to let mummies know my hospital bill and experience during my stay.
Mine was induced at 36weeks and 2days. I gave $700 upfront as we registered. I chosed normal delivery without epi, double bedded for 2days. I submitted may prenatal package so i was able to maximize my medisave...was able to withdaw @2100. we used posb debit card so less 5% from the packaged of normal delivery w/o epi..after computing everything we are excess of $315 which we received few days after we were discharged. btw, prior to my delivery, i already gave $300 in advance for my gynae. this was given at 32weeks.
The accomodation was good for 2days. although its 2-bedded i was able to demand to have the place near the window. the staffs were superb, very accomodating. they really take care of the patients.
hope this info will help expectant mothers who wants to deliver in Mt. A.
From what i knew, starting last june, the medisave claim is bigger. can claim up to $1650 + $450 if you have the prenatal receipts. so in all $2100. and before that, i also asked how much will i need to top up if i go normal with epi, they say from the package need to top up $1K over for the aneasthesiologist. so maybe from there you will know roughly how much would it cost you.thanks for your info.. I just delivered last year Oct ( my 2nd ) but cant compare cos the medisave claim is more tis year.
Last your i paid $500 to gynae. Another $500 deposit when admit. Manage claim $1350 only even after submitted my antenatal pkg receipts. And still need pay an excess of $1k when discharge.
2bedded, normal delivery with epi
I need to compare Normal delivery with Epi. cos with Epi need pay specialist fees that why much more exp.

Dear mummies
Im supposed to due on 22 sep 09 and deliver at Mount A..
Need to have c-section GA..
Wondering mummies giving birth at Mount A about the total cash they paid?
Errr.. I'm still contemplating whether to deliver at Thomson Medical Centre or Mount Alvernia.. I dont't want to pay so much.. and am looking at 4 bedded ward.. To me it looks like Mount Alvernia is cheaper.. from the comparison I made at both their website.. The room charges at Mount Alvernia is cheaper by $100++.. Anyone agree to this?i did a cs under GA too
just follow package
i had a double beded cos no more single beded
in end i paid a deposit of 1200
after cpf everything if it was just a 3 days 2 night stay
they wil actually refund you 600 bugx i think
thts what my hubbie told me
cos dont forget must charge for baby too!
Wonder how Denzel_4107 and Angela doing.. can't wait to hear their birth stories.. :001_302:Hmmm cos 20092009 easier to rem & it's kinda special, so we choose on that day instead.
Gal, have send you a private msg for mine contact & email.
