how long did your menses resume back after delivery? my bb ger is now 3.5mths and my menses is stil not back yet? is it normal?

I think it depends on your body too. For me, even though I was fully breastfeeding after both pregnancies I got my period in the 2nd month after delivery. I know some people do not get their menses back for as long as they breastfeed.

Every body is different. I didn't get mine back until my son was about 13 months. I brought it back by stopping night feeds as we wanted to try for another baby. If not, my period would probably return later...

It's different for everyone. Mine returned when my baby was 9 months.

I got my menses in the 5th month after delivery, I was bfing. But it only came once. Now two more months already, still have not come my menses.

Hi mummies out there, My baby is now 8 mths, my menses still not back yet. Every mth I can feel the menses pain n my gynae even gave me pill to eat however still no sign of it. Advised by my gynae is to continue to wait, but I dun feel rite whenever the pain attack. Shall I consult other gynae or just wait..please help

My mense return 3months after my delivery and i bfeed too. i heard some ladies can go without a period for abt 1year if they fully bfeed, so it may depend on individual bcos our body works differently, but if you are still worried, go to a doctor.

Yep depends on whether you are breastfeeding or not and also individual bodies.

But great isn't it? I hate having periods!

right after delivery, got bleed for about 1mth plus than will be spotting on off until i stop BF my son at 6mths. then menses came few weeks after i stop bf.
