how long does the menses last during confinement?

My menses is about 2 weeks and the flow actually not really heavy except the first 3 days.
Not sure is it because I am c-sec so most of the blood is been clear by gynae.

i had a c-section. due to complications i had a drain inserted to drain the blood for 7 days. *hospitalised for a week aaarrrggghhh*
when i could finally use the toilet the last few days, there were blood clots on my pad.
so when they had the drain removed, i asked the nurse if i would still have a period. she said yes. now it's 2 days since and my pad is still clean...
is this normal?

ok, i've had the after birth menses. it barely filled a panty liner last week.
now i'm having period like menses. i mean, it's bloody red and i'm bleeding like a normal period. been 4 days already.
is it normal to have your regular period directly after the after birth menses without any "break"?
i'm occassionally breastfeeding and i thought we wouldn't get our periods if we're breastfeeding.
