how much is it to have a maid?

anyone knows that the expenses is like? all these agency fees and levies are making me confused. plus need to spend on maid's food and stuff...

i'm planing for 2nd baby soon.. and am wondering if i can afford a maid...

Maid levy is $170 and the maid pay is approx $320 - $350 depending on where are they from or do they have any experience (* work in Singapore or other countries before). Intial 6mths you only pay them $20 depending on how much they loan.

As for food they will eat what we eat no specific stuff we need to buy for them. If they need to call home it depends on whether you want to buy phone card which is $8.50 (Singtel hello card) for them or they pay on their own pay.

But do take note when there is an extra person in the house means your utilities bill will go up about $50-$60.
