HPV/Cervix cancer vaccination

Hi, Just want to know anyone vaccinated themselves against cervical cancer? Do you think it is effective and worth the money to immume ourselves?

I asked abt tis at a clinic n was told tat only those havent had sex b4 will be 100% safe after taking the vaccination but for those had sex b4 alrdy is not a confirm thingy if is safe after taking the vaccination~ I rather dun take but i will consider let my ger take when she gets much older~

I've took it =). Honestly,you could not see any diff whether have take anot..But personally prevention is better than cure as Cervical cancer is the third killer in S'pore. And now the vaccination cost abt $140 for one, in total you have to take 3.

My gynae offered the jab, priced at $150 per jab, but we didn't take that time as hubby felt not necessary.

Tats wat my hubby tinks too~ Esp when he heard tat for those had sex b4 the prevention rate will be much lower~

i think its still better to tk e vacc since its available
u can do a pap smear to make sure every things fine
thn proceed with e vacc
tats what i did
taking e vacc b4 any sexual contact is of cos e
best protection cos its 'clean' as in clear of any risk in contact
of any viral
but having sexual contact also somewhat increases e risk
anyway if e person do not have any sexual contact at all
still in risk of cervical cancer
so personally i still think prevention is better than cure

Gardasil and Cerverix
Gardasil- protects from cervical cancer, vaginal cancer n valve cancer
n HPV 6, 11, 16, 18

Cerverix- protects from cervical cancer n HPV 16 , 18
