How do we know if our kid are over active or hyper active??

my son is rather active and we are worry about him being hyper...

Anyway to find out???

You can bring him for assessment at the specialist clinics. You can go to S P A R K to get more information for ADHD and where to go for assessment.

hw old is ur son? actu i noe tt some kids are VERY active. but if u suspect he is hyper active and might nd certain treatment, bring him to a doc. or maybe ask ur pd for more info =)

ya how old is ur baby?? my boy now is 7 weeks old.. also very active.. non stop... even sometime when sleeping... i think u gotta wait for ur baby to get bigger to see if he is hyper active.. too young i don't think can know...

Yah, have actually forgotten to check how old is your son. I think the earliest for assessment for ADHD is around 3 or 4 years old and it is important to get treatment earlier.

u can figure out a kid is hyperactive by the time he is 1yr old.one of my friends' son is hyperactive.but they found out when he turned 5 and half.
a retrospection of his chr at age 1 they now realise ,understand tht he has always been hyper.he is hyper has no ADHD.he never had attention deficiency.his mom even quit work to allot all her time for him once he was born. he is very smart,brilliant at school.but has behavioral problems at home.yelling,stubborn,aggressive,hitting,mouthing bad words,lying......he is very quiet,a bit shy &very sweet at school and outside.he is on counselling & takn homeopathic meds.

So pls give urself and ur LO time.
