[SG50 Inventions Camp by Kids]
Kids, you are invited to participate in one of the MOST AWESOME INVENTIONS day camp ever!
You will be given an opportunity to see inventions and designs from Singapore's past 50 years, part take in a makerthon challenge to plan, design, build and share your "team's" invention while being mentored by Singapore's Technology start up company Neeuro - the makers of brain technology and gaming devices for young and old and the Vice President of Technology without Borders Swinburne University of Technology.
Dates:
Friday September 4th, Monday September 7th & Tuesday September 8th (School holiday period)
You can sign up up for 1, 2 or 3 days!
Suitable for children aged 9 to 17
Time: 9.30am to 2.00pm
Location: 111 Middle Rd Bugis
National Design Centre
Cost: $32 per child per day

What the camp will provide:
- Morning tea break (fresh fruit)
- Lunch (subway roll vegetarian or ham & egg mayo, drink and cookie or chips)
- All materials for the inventions
- Industry mentors who will guide and help develop each team's ideas, design and building stage
Priority and subsidies will be given to the following:
- children with special needs
- low income family
- single parent family
The event has been proudly supported by the Design Council of Singapore and the Singapore Celebration fund.
