Is this nipple cream safe for breastfeeding?

Hi hi!

I'm a first time mummy (still preggy) and i have just bought a nipple cream to prepare for BF but i have not used it yet.

I bought it from this website:
Bebelove - A Moms' and Babies' Boutique

Just wondering if this is still safe to be used if it appears to be leaking?

I have emailed the seller yesterday but have yet to get a reply. :weconfused:

normally if the seal is spoiled or appears leaking is not advisable to use. Try contact the seller again?

yes, usually for products they always advise if the seal is/appears broken, not to use...

but seller can also say, they are not responsible for items damaged/lost in post.

gumbokins: Oh, i self collected the item at city square mall as the seller told me that she was sick. The shop actually holds her stock for her, but it's not her store.. Not sure if she will honour it coz i only checked when i got back at night.. =X

Just an update.. and to inform all mummys out there about this shop:

I was told when i went down to collect from Mom's Cottage, citysquare mall (#03-45) that they were helping the seller to carry her product and will release the product based on her invoice number.

This seller has 2 websites:

And now, the seller told me that she only supply the items to the shop? I'm not too sure who is telling the truth..

I have also included the email correspondance as shown. I want to make sure that i'm showing both sides of the story so that any1 who may be intending to make any purchase can make an informed decision.

It's really not a smooth transaction dealing with your company, the fact that you have mentioned you were sick and i have obligated to collect it on my own, and now, your product is defective and you have not respond to any email since thurs.

I would appreciate if you could respond by either refunding me or exchange a brand new nipple cream without any defects.

yea.. it does seems like she is the owner. I'll just wait for her reply for another week before i take further action.. haiz..

Wha... this is too much.. All mummies out there, beware of this online store.


to think that this online store is opened by other parent herself! If she were to purchase an item that is to be used on her child (let alone a newborn), will she use the item? So much for the advertisements and the press that she have! So unethical!

Looks like she has no intention of doing refund despite mentioning it in the email.

yes, but there was no news up till now. I paid using paypal but there was no refund transaction whatsoever.

It's not so much on how much i paid.. but honestly, i will never buy from this store again!
