GWMT, hw u convince ur hubby of gg thru IUI?? Hw much u paid and which gynea u went??

Went to see gynae and was tld that i gt cyst of abt 2cm. So tats oso the reaaon why i dun ovulate as hw normal ppl does.

We spend abt $400 or slightly more for my first iui. Before my iui i had five days of clomid. maybe thats the reason why the fee is low.

Hi all, im free here. Anyone seeing any specialist in the east? Is Dr Ronald Chieng good?
I went to NUH Prof PC Wong for my first IUI...not very comfy with him and wanna change my doc...any good doc to rec?

I chanced upon this site. I saw a lot of hopes from all of you. I had gone through both IUI and SO-IUI. But both failed. My gynae is advising me to go through IVF. I'm not prepared. My hub and I are healthy couple. His sperm counts and mobility are good and I ovalutate normally and regularly. But just that we are not able to conceive naturally or with help. I'm very disappointed. Should I heed the dr's advice to go through IVF? I'm afraid to have the same consequence?

Just wanted to share. Please don't give up as i had my 3rd SO-IUI and it was a success! I'm now into my 14th week.

congras!!. May I know u when u did ur 3rd IUI, < 35 or > 35 but < 40?? My gynae kept emphasis that age may be the factor of two failure.

hi jlhope: i am 31. Yes, have heard from doc that age does play an impt factor. Bt i guess its how you think mentally (keeping positive) that is also important. Having been thru 2 failed IUIs, i was also rather surprised that it was successful on my 3rd attempt. BTW, which gynae are you seeing?

Hi, was keen to know if you were naturally able to produce good size of follicle and also ovulate them naturally ? or where you given injections and drugs to do so ? If you were given support then is $1500 including that ?

Hi ladies, I'm pretty new here with second post :) just did a scan after took 50unit puregon jabs frm day 3 to 7
Left: 8, 6
Right: 8.5, 7.5, 6, 6
Doc asked me to take a jab today n scan tomorrow again. Ladies, anyone can advise on my case? My 1st time doing iui n doctor was rushing for patients hence can't ask much :(

HI All,

I doing my IUI on monday. Tomorrow i have to go for the jab and release the follicles. I am worry and really wonder if i can make it thru. I had a hard time asking my hubby to do it.. i really hope i can be pregnant on the 1st try. I have 3 on the right and 1 on the left.. now my lower abdomen seem bloated and full... Hope im alright..

Hi Ladyvis,

Happy Lunar New year to all mum to be.

I did my IUI last Monday and currently in the mid of 2WW. I felt nothing yet. The bloatiness has gone away. IUI is quite ok. Not painful but feeling weird when doctor really pay the attention doing his job..LOLx.

i was giving some medicine to bulid up my lining as doc told me my lining is rather weak. :(

I think he mentioned he also gave me some medicine for "An Tai"....

Keep my fingers cross. :p

Hi gingertea,

Just done with my natural IUI on 09 Feb 2013.
Had my trigger shot on 08 Feb 2013.

After the procedure, I have been feeling bloated, tired, mild cramp and also experience pinkish discharge on day 4 .

Wonder if this normal?

HI, Yes, i felt a little cramp like PMS coming during the 2ww. But i din feel tired or have pinkish discharge..however i feel super "wet" when BD these few days.
