IVF success rate is still considered very low by today technological advances but the cost is rocket price. The couple may try to build up their health first and try it naturally. There is no natural rejection using IVF to conceive. It thus carry a greater risk....

Dear all sisters.. Let me share tis wiz u.. I have been trying to conceive 4 years.. I went thru polys removal to Tcm to spiritual healing.. Finally to IVF n finally ... SUCCESSFUL! My advice is for ladies like us who does not have a healthy womb whereby we can get pregnant easily... Believe me.. Go for TCM for minimum 3 mth to 6 mths.. Go for IVF n yr chance is very good. I never believe in all these Tcm stuff ( n think it's lame) .. But after trying all means n ways n I'm getting older.. I went desperate n try Tcm n went for IVF.. Bingo!! So ladies no harm trying.. If u r keen to know more.. Let me know

Dear all

I am new here. But I am on my 2ww now. This is my 2nd try for IVF at SGH and had my ET done on Sunday.

Just wondering if anyone is successful doing IVFs from SGH?

Just like to know more about your symptons during your 2ww. Understand different ppl may feel differently.. but want to know some guidelines.. thks.

Hi hope.. If u feel very uncomforty like having a very bloated stomach or having " ball like cramps" whenever u urine... Then it's all " gd sign" symptoms. ..

helo, anyone know of beta hcg test? can it be done at home?
had been browsing the web, and noticed that some tests can be done at home to determine if implantation actually took place?

Btw, can we do manicure/pedicure during our 2ww? Got an function coming up...

Can anyone shed some lights?

If possible marry n conceived earlier. Nature has the wonderful plan for us to reject unhealthy eggs or sperms. Best not to try IVF.

hi elyza, u know this is the IVF support group thread right? I m sure most of us know the theory of start young. But doesnt mean that young = healthy eggs/sperms. There are still other factors where ppl are not able to conceive and dun think is very nice of you to make such a comment... thks anyway.

Not everyone has the luxury of doing that.

Elyza.. I wonder if u think before u tok .. N curious abt yr age.. My pedicurist is only 23 yrs old.. She couldn't conceive.. Wat do u have to say abt tat n her DR have asked her to try IVF due to her medical condition ... Do u actually know wat is IVF before u even start commenting if it's gd or no gd????

Hi All,

I have been married for more than 10 year, no luck on natural.

Unfortunately i did 6x of IUI all failed.. (i have blocked L tude & Hubby sperms are low too) *Feeling so depress*

Finally I am being brave and hubby agreed and now we are starting our IVF process at KK. Today (25th Aug) is my day 10 of injecting. Hope everything goes smooth for us in the year of Dragon...

Really hope MIRACLE and baby dust to all of you.

Me too did 4x IUI all failed...last try did all the injection but cancel on the day of insemination procedure due to ovulation over..so disappointed..My gynea ask me to go for one more round IUI before go for IVF:nah:....more try.. more hope & more sad & disappointed...well done you can make it 6x

Me will start my 1st IVF on late of sep'11 at KK. I'm very nervous to go through all the injection again.. :embarrassed:

How is body effect after taking drug injection?

Good luck to you too. For me so far nothing strange, my body feel as normal. I am taking the 2nd inject on this coming wed..

NUH provide ART services...IUI, IVF, ICSI etc. Hope to reduce the 'Q' on KK & SGH.

Clinic For Human Reproduction

My 1st appt on 7/4/11 at KK, we immediately book for IVF but the 'Q' was on sept'11. Is't true? How to increse singapore fertility%?

Did yours have this same experiences before?

Actually I thinking to go for chinese acupuncture or chinese medicine-boiling type.

Is ok go concurrently with IVF since I'm going to start on Oct'11?:embarrassed:

I personally hope to try on chinese acupunture too but husband said wait till we have our 1st ivf then decide if not successful.. I saw from other forum that some ladies went to the chinese acupunture & medicines, they said it's beneficial to the bodies & also aid in their ivf session.. Probably you may try if you have any known chinese doc in mind.

My gynae advise not to go for chinese medicine except 'Thong Ji' & 'Eu Yang San'. I know 'Thong Ji' have very long 'Q' whereas Eu Yang San very expensive too.

Yes, i went to eu yan sang b4, it's indeed very exp esp the specialist in paragon medical ctr.. My doc was Xia Rong,she was a well known chinese doc but her charges was very high.. As for tongji, i nvr try b4, heard fm some friends they hv good doc there but u hv to make appt like weeks ago to see doc.. price is quite reasonable compare to eu yan sang.
