Jaundice Level in Newborn Baby

Hi MOMs,

My baby is 3 days old and doctor has advised the below :

Jaundice Level
031110 - 149
041110 - 189

Doctor has also advised that as long as the reading is below 250 , the baby isa safe. BUT we have been recommened to go KK Hospital for a check up 2mlw, on Deepavali Day.

Please advise some remedies.

Hi,
My baby was detected with jaundice on 2nd day with a level of 160. Next day it drop to 120 but according to nurse, it's still high n as long as more than 100, baby got to stay in hospital. How come the range so much diff??

I asked the Doctor to explain more about the bilrubin level and he showed me a chart.
As long as the level is below 250, the baby is safe.
I am praying to God to that the baby must be safe.

Dun worry , the level will eventually go down after the 7th day cos the peak is at the 7 th day, my girl when she abt 7 th day, her level is very high at 262 but still she is with me at home but most importantly must be hydrated and pass urine often, my girl after one week of the 7th day, her level dropped to 189 and at her 1 mth checkup she perfectly fine le, dun worry ur baby will be fine
