think u need a referer letter from polyclinic to enjoy the subsidise but actually, i feel the amount paid is even more than private hospital. My SIL went to KK under polyclinic referer but end up her consultation fee is more that what i paid in Thomson Medical! So we ask her to switch to Thomson instead.
Yes, there is subsidy (Singaporean or PR). But you need a referral letter from the polyclinic. We went to the polyclinic to obtain a referral letter first, then they will book an appt for us. After that, just go on the appointed date. Their bill will show the full costs and the amount that is subsidised. But as a subsidised patient, you cannot choose the gynae. Hope this helps.
