looking for air purifier [built-in with air-con or standalone]

i am new here. currently looking for air purifiers for my son and daughter. considering between those built-in with aircon units or standalones.

my son has asthma and i heard air purifiers can help to reduce the effects.

any recommendations?

may i know what kind of ai purifiers you have? i googled around and seems like those with HEPA filters and UV lamp are more efficient.
