i am looking for good baby dermatologist..
my baby has a birth mark on the face and i am thinking of getting it remove

Is too young to see a dermatologist,birth mark will fade as baby gets older.

I have seek advice from my PD he said that it might or might not fade...
As it is on the face hence i am worried
I have the similar birthmark... it grew bigger.
As it is at the hips area hence it didnt bother me much...

Don't worry,wait till she is at least a few years old,if the colour is light blue/brown,will fade as she gets older.Black colour will have problem.

Hi steffywoofy, I just brought my niece to Dr. Lynn Chiam in Mount E Novena for the same problem. My niece has birth mark like black mole near her right eyebrow. We were just scared that It will grow dangerous. She told us not to be worry and even advise us to do removal only when she's on the right age since the removal might give trauma to 2 years old kid. Am going to see PD in 2 weeks time..maybe jus seek his advice or recommendation

You're most welcome.
At first we thought so too! But Dr. explained that unless she is few months old baby, that's impossible not to traumatize her. She advised us to wait until she grow bigger and fully understand about what the doctor would do to her face
