Dear all,
My mum is tired of taking care of my 15 mth old boy and in 2 weeks time my no 2 is coming. I am sending my boy to child care when he turns 18 months before i go back to work but meanwhile, i think my mum cannot take care of my younger one too. So im quite troubled with what she mention about cannot take care, etc...
So I need suggestions what I should do? I got lots of worries and concerns:
1) Maid
PROS - Can help my mum take care of cleaning, cooking and of cos my babies
CONS - Scare cannot communicate
- Scare unreliable maids, thefts, not honest
- High agency fees
2) Babysitter
PROS - Can help take care of my baby in the day
- Can ease my mum from taking care of baby
CONS - Only daytime take care, night time i need to take care
- Scare baby too close to babysitter
- Need to bring over and fetch home everyday
- More expensive than maids?
- Location?
3) Infant care
PROS - Can use CDA account
- Can help take care of my baby in the day
- Can ease my mum from taking care of baby
CONS - More expensive than babysitter and maid?
- until max 7pm only (my knock off time is 6.30pm..might not come back in time to fetch)
- Too many scary news on infants die in infant care....scary....
So those with experiences please help. If you are in favour of any of the above, can also provide me with affordable and reliable contact for me?
