Medela Calma Teat - any mummy uses this long term?

My son has been feeding on the Medela Calma teat since birth. He is now 6.5 months old. I would like to switch him to a normal teat as the Calma is expensive. Anyone who has used the Calma please could you share your experiences and whether it would be a good idea for me to switch him to use a normal teat now. Thanks!

I changed to normal teat when I stopped breastfeeding. My boy was ok with the new teat, it's easier for him to drink as it's softer than Calma.
