Medications from Gynae

I think the important thing to realise is that its not about whether to take the meds/supplements or not but whether your daily diet provides sufficient vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy pregnancy. Folic acid is commonly found in green leafy vegetables, so if you consume them in your daily diet, you prob don't need folic pills. Similar argument, for Vit C and multi-vits.

Anyway, best to consult and discuss with your gynae. I know my own diet patterns, i.e. I don't eat enough fruits and veges so I started on the pills when I was trying to conceive. I still take it now in my first trimester, in addition to utrogestan and ventlin, the latter for uterus cramps cos I get them bad.
