should I change to exclusive pumping?

I will be away from my baby for a week next month. I am a working mom and my baby is on ebm during the day and direct latch at night. My Mil is worried that my baby will feel very uncomfortable if he can't latch for one whole week. She suggest I start giving him full ebm now and slowly cut him off from direct breastfeed.

Does any mommies encounter this? What should I do?

I think its really hard for your baby, that she can't latch on for more than a week, maybe would always cry and cant slip, for me i think you have to slowly cut, so that its not hurt for her. not good idea

I feel same situation in my case before, my baby is suffering can't sleep, better you make totally or slowly cut the ebm, before you leave her

I agree with you lovely mummy, its true its really hurt for the feelings of baby when she like to latch and your not there for her, and she will always cry and cry, i think for 1 week your baby will become not feeling well.
