Need Help!

Hi mummies ... My dear son is 3 wks + for the past few days he is having bad wind pain .. Any remedies? It happens only during evenings and night ..
I am feeding him both BM and FM .. I am avoiding most of the foods which heard or found to be gassy ..
Bought colic drops "rid wind" seems to be not working ...
Currently feeding him Friso gold 1 from day 1 and heard that friso comfort good for reflux and colic , tried for 2 days but he is getting rashes .. so stopped immediately ..
any feed back appreciated..:tsad:
Any good pediatrician to recommend in and around Yishun?

ds has colic and keep vomiting milk, he's on friso comfort too... since he's rashes after drinking, better stop and bring to a pd... why dun you bring him back to the pd who see him when he just born?

We are not satisfied the baby's current PD .. hubby wants to change the PD due to this .. really hoping to find a good PD for him ..

can get @ any tcm store. pour 2 to 3 drops on ur palm then rub usin 2 hands n apply it on bb stommach. do not put straight onto bb stomach.

I'm seeing Dr Marion Au at NUH for my dd's reflux. I've decided to stick to her after changing 5 pds.3 of us mummies whose bbs have reflux are seeing her and we all agree that she's really good and meticulous and the best thing is she won't make you feel small or stupid!

If you need more info about reflux, you can go to a thread in the special needs forum here.

btw, Dr Au is a gastro-intestinal specialist which is why she's really good for reflux.

Thanks will sure try her out .. yesterday he cried very badly at nite , gave him gripe water, rid wind ..
After an hour of cry he slept well .. Really heart pain to see him crying in pain ..

What is the visiting hours? Is the doc available in weekends? :msad:

can get any medical halls.
put 1-2 drops on your palm, rub tgt til its abit warm then press gently against baby's tummy.
can do 2-3 times (meaning, rub your palms n press gently against tummy, but no need to add additional ru yi oil).
after tt, can gently massage baby's tummy by rubbing downwards gently.

i normally use it after her bath.
try not to use too often. maybe abt 4 times a day. every 4-5 hours in btw would be ok i think.

Dr Au only has clinics on Tuesdays and Fridays. If you want to see her, you need to book in advance, usually about one month. Or you can also try prof quek from NUH, also gastro-intestinal specialist. Those of us who have seen both tend to prefer Dr Au, but Prof Quek is not bad.

First time vist is about $90, subsequent ones are about $50 to $60 not inclusive of meds. You can try getting a referral from a polyclinic if you can wait.

Before you bring your ds, maybe you want to check the list of symptoms of reflux under the special needs forum here? The thread is on GERD.

there is a ooi baby clinic at yishun.. Blk 417.. go try.. my baby and 2 of my nieces all go there.. i find the doc not bad..
